Shall easily beat the cold,
halt prematurely turning old,
fingertips feel fine to the fold,
keeping warm clean tidy and bold.
That's an idea steadfastly sold.
Health and good wishes continually roll.

14 hats, cover day and night.
7 gloves, let no frost bite.
16 veggies to churn the tum,
5 or 6 fruits to bring on yum.

This is the story that has to be told,
so on this track I do hold.

Changing sheets and pillow cases,
on chilly mornings keep smooth clear faces.
Where insects put their bite through,
leave poison, drop their pooh.

Stop terrible embarrassment,
cusses and blushes.
Take a little extra time
with fusses and rushes.
Rid the dirt,
swerve the stinging hurt.
Adding detergent to regular washes.

Is this a re-run of that guy a few years back who was posting his

Yes indeed! I wonder what happened to him. I've had some fun with
spoofs myself, but nothing even remotely close to that sort of scale.
Some of the indignant frothing fury he used to inspire on alt.guitar
was quite terrifying!

IIRC he was a spoofing Canadian trolling to get hits on his mp3.com site
which earned him money per hit (listen or download). I suspect if he
develops another scheme it'll be under a different name.

Yeah, he definitely had an mp3.com page, but I don't think there was
much revenue to be gained from it back then (I also had a couple of
pages there, and certainly never earned a penny). It was just a very
elaborate wind-up, and lots of fun to watch it develop.

IIRC it was pennies, but if you work the sytem like he did I'm sure it paid
for beer at least. I don't think he was doing it for glory or anything else.

Click here to see Cold the Movie

Shall easily beat the cold,
halt prematurely turning old,
fingertips feel fine to the fold,
keeping warm clean tidy and bold.
That's an idea steadfastly sold.
Health and good wishes continually roll.

14 hats, cover day and night.
7 gloves, let no frost bite.
16 veggies to churn the tum,
5 or 6 fruits to bring on yum.

This is the story that has to be told,
so on this track I do hold.

Changing sheets and pillow cases,
on chilly mornings keep smooth clear faces.
Where insects put their bite through,
leave poison, drop their pooh.

Stop terrible embarrassment,
cusses and blushes.
Take a little extra time
with fusses and rushes.
Rid the dirt,
swerve the stinging hurt.
Adding detergent to regular washes.
