Walking down a country road
sniffing in moist grass
To the heavens I ask my Lord.
Thank you master you have lifted my load.

This air I breathe from the flowers and tress,
Brings me up from down on my knees,
opens lungs, enriches blood strengthens muscle,
stronger overcoming the daily tussle.

Every garden sown, weeded, mown,
knows the care working arms deliver,
and if the timing is right at harvest,
soil is the nourishment giver.

Feeding the hunger natural cravings yearn,
another year repeating toil.
Through chills of winter,
to summers radiation burn and boil.
Christ's love
